My DD, 4, has a name that is top 700 in the ONS stats, unsurprisingly we've yet to meet another one. It's a name that is top 10 in some euro countries though so she is delighted to find 3 with her name competing in Rio.

If you google 'name' Rio 2016 that works. Also tells you what time they are competing so you can tune in.

Go Germany and Belgium!Grin

Two of my children have common names so there are loads competing. My other two children have Portuguese names so googling their names plus Rio 2016 brings up thousands of hits Grin

Oh and we're rooting for GB, Brazil and Mexico!

Ooh, my daughter also has a name shared by 3 Rio athletes - all seem to be German but I could be wrong. Curious if our dds have the same name, Oxtail!

I don't tend to mention it for fear it might suddenly become the next big thing, but it starts with a letter towards the top of the alphabet and has three syllables.

Of my 4 dc only one shares a name with a young chap who is taking part in the Rio Olympics in a canoe.

My 5yo DD was rooting for the lady who won the silver medal in the Modern Pentathlon as they have the same name. She loved watching the Olympics, it's been a great few weeks Smile
