I love it, but I'm not sure I'm brave enough? Sad Edmund James or is James Edmund better?

Love Edmund and Edwin!

I prefer James Edmund. I just think of my grandad's brother Edwin for some reason when I hear that name. I definitely think there's better, more attractive old fashioned names out there.

Personally I prefer Edward to Edmund, but I can't see any real problem with Edmund.
It certainly doesn't feel unusual enough to me for it to be a "brave" choice.

I wouldn't let Narnia / Blackadder put me off if I loved it.

I don't have any strong feelings on the name personally, but I agree that it's not really unusual enough to be a "brave" choice.

If you like it, go for it.

Edmund. Love it. Makes me think of Ralph Fiennes in King Lear swoon

Great name! (Way better than Edward in my opinion!) go for it!

winewolfhowls · 28/07/2016 16:25

I love it.

For some reason the word 'Edmund' always makes me think of someone talking with a stuffed up nose. Not sure why! Sorry OP.
