Currently pregnant with no 2, and looking for a Scottish name for the bump! We've a shortlist of boys names but no girls names! I've always liked isla and eilidh, but both are so popular in my area that I no longer want to use them! I can't find any unique that I love, anyone any suggestions? Thanks!

My favourites are Skye, Morven and Iona.

Actually I love Alba, said this early on however it was a no from dh! May mention it again. Have a feeling he'll still say no! I have the name rhua in mind tonight, but not sure if I made this name up!

Eilidh, Catriona, Mairi or Mhairi, Rhona, Rhoda and Seonag are ones that come to mind.
Skye is quite a popular name for sheepdogs so I'd give that one a miss personally!

carmelsundae · 06/06/2016 21:52

My name, both my sisters and my mums name have all been mentioned here! Never actually realised we had such a Scottish theme! Maybe I should move away from it after all....
