January defiantly has a precedent as a name, I had a tutor called January and she was older than January Jones!

Do it. It's unusual, sure. But no more so than KayDee or Jeysun. Just a lot prettier. - - classier--

Apologies to parents of made up names. I made those last two up.

Ah. Strikeout fail.

Tis late.

Julie/Julia similar to July without being overly so iyswim.

Baby January born in January is a little unimaginative as mentioned above.

Also being a winter baby myself is no fun as a kid as Christmas & birthdays come close together. Everyone is skint & you get everybody's regifted unwanted Christmas presents still wrapped in father Xmas gift wrap at your party. I'm not at all bitter!

Happy name choosing

It's weird that you're trying to plan your baby's birth month to match yours - what for? And to call the baby (which may be a boy obviously) January because it's the month you were all born - can't you think of anything with a better meaning than that?

No, not keen. If you put January on the birth cert and called her Annie day to day/for school etc, that might be OK. Annie is lovely.
