It would be Lucy for me, such a beautiful classic name, not faddy.

HerRoyalNotness · 08/04/2016 21:18

I like all of them! Do you have a mn already?

Lucy Isobel
Naomi Rose

Lucy or Rose for me. I love Lucy Rose Smile

dillydontdally · 08/04/2016 21:27

They are all lovely, but I think that Rose is beautiful and underused as a first name so that gets my vote Smile

MajesticWhine · 08/04/2016 21:34

Lucy

Sophronia · 08/04/2016 22:25

Naomi

Thanks everyone! Mn is decided - but didn't want it to influence first name choice as it's been chosen for family reasons. It goes fine with them all though! Thanks for your opinions.

We have a Lucy Isabelle - she is 6 years old and awesome :) Lucy used to get called Cece by her brother when she was a baby/toddler! Expecting a baby in August and for a middle name we are thinking about Rosa (or Eva - decisions, decisions!!). I would go for 1) Lucy 2) Rose

Isobel is fine. Naomi sounds like a harder mixture of syllables to pronounce then most other names and does not roll out easily - when you have to say it again and again - (just me though I'm sure). Lucy has a friend called Naomi and I must have heard it pronounced Nay-me (and other variants) a hundred times. You would have trouble shortening this too (if you wanted). It's fine though.

Rose!

crapfatbanana · 09/04/2016 10:06

Lucy - lovely
Rose - also lovely
Isobel - overused at the moment
Naomi - lovely Biblical name, but can have pronunciation issues.

I'd pick Lucy.

MontserratCaballe · 09/04/2016 10:15

I have a Lucy and thought there would be loads of them, but I don't know any others. She is 11 and I don't know any younger ones in her brother and sisters' circle of friends.

Rose and Isobel v popular round here. Not that that would put me off but we have Isobel B, Isobel M and Izzy H in one class.

Naomi lovely but could annoy you if you want it pronounced in a particular way. Are you intending Nay -O - mi or a NAY-o - mi? I suspect people might go for both so if this will annoy you it is something to bear in mind.

Lucy. Pretty, classic, not used much these days, AND Queen of Narnia!

applecatchers36 · 09/04/2016 10:25

All lovley names hard to pick favourite but might go Lucy or Rose.

Isobel gorgeous but very popular at moment.
Naomi slightly less keen on....

hownottofuckup · 09/04/2016 10:42

Lucy - I think it's a beautiful name.

NoahVale · 09/04/2016 10:47

love them all, Naomi might be slightly less popular if that persuades you?

Cosycottage4 · 09/04/2016 14:58

I have a Naomi Rose, so I'm biased :-)

Bajanella · 10/04/2016 17:48

We had Lucy, Rose and Isabella on our short list. We chose Lucy.

ABitAsleep · 11/04/2016 11:04

Lucy or Naomi! Defintley

jellybeans · 12/04/2016 15:58

All these are really nice but I prefer Lucy.

Gardencentregroupie · 12/04/2016 16:00

My almost 2 year old is Lucy, so that has to get my vote. I'm enjoying all the Lucy love on this thread.

NoncommittalToSparkleMotion · 12/04/2016 16:01

Rose! My absolute favourite name, dd's middle. I love her first name, but Rose!

Citygirl12345 · 12/04/2016 16:44

Lucy Rose is lovely.
