Hermione or Camellia

I'm 35 weeks and having a wobble as we were swaying towards Hermione but realised it spells HARM with our other names. I'm struggling to change the middle names as they're family names, so can I just ask which of the above you prefer please?

Hermione.

I don't think the initials matter too much but did think about that myself, so could you change the order of them so that it's HRAM?

Hermione
Camellia is too shrubby for me.

The initials wouldn't bother me, I know plenty of people who have worse initials than Harm. Most people won't even realise it

Hermione

Hermione is a beautiful name!

I like neither but that doesn't matter; I second the HRAM suggestion to allow you to use the name of your choice.

They're both lovely names, but I slightly prefer Camellia.

Thank you! Unfortunately HRAM just doesn't flow the same - it doesn't sound quite right. I think we'll have to hit the drawing board with middle names again. Interested in your thoughts on the first names thanks

Charlotte Hermione and end up with CHARM?

She'd hate you every time she had to fill in a form though Grin

Hermione is beautiful

I wouldn't worry about initials-my maiden name was Watt and I have a brother called Thomas....we were genuinely near adulthood before we realised he was a Twatt!!!

TremoloGreen · 04/04/2016 09:54

Hermione, definitely

Do you want suggestions for middle names or are they family ones? You might be able to pick alternative versions of the names or other names with the same meaning?

Camellia is beautiful. I'm not a fan of hermione, it seems 'clunky' to me but I can see I'm in the minority!
