Do you think I've named my baby after Stacey in Eastenders???

DC2 due soon. First son is named Austin and so far my boys names are between Henry, Arthur and my DH likes Rafferty.

Girls names are Sylvie Ada, Robyn, Nina, Iris, Thea, Una.

I'm confident we could get a girls name but if it was a boy would everyone think we'd copied Eastenders? (I don't watch soaps and have no idea what characters are called. )

What do you think of our names?

It's a lovely name!

I might be biased though as it was my granddad's name and we're choosing it as a middle name Grin

I'd think aardvark.

I think Arthur Dent as in the hitch hickers guide to the galaxy cos im a bad nerd so I think it's pretty cool :)

BeefLasagneForMyTea · 23/03/2016 12:15

No because Stacey's baby is Arfer not Arthur haha. I do fear it's going to get very popular though.

Thanks everyone! Just good to have a few opinions. I would have said Fowler too (showing my age...?)

Wasn't the aardvark called Otis?!

Yeah I know it's becoming more popular now but I'm in rural Scotland and so far I haven't encountered one single Arthur. It would be typical though to name a son that and see a massive rise in use Smile

Loving the posh monocle wearing snake idea Grin

It's a classic name that will never be too popular.

(It's DS's middle name Grin )
