Harriet is pretty, as is Nathaniel.

Vixxfacee · 17/03/2016 17:38

I like Sophia but it is VERY popular if you mind that.
Flora and Harriet I do not like at all.

Really dislike William.
I like Nicholas and Nathaniel purely for the nicknames Nico and Nate.

RickOShay · 17/03/2016 17:38

Yes. My favourites are Flora and Nicholas. Least favourite is Nathaniel. I think the two I have mentioned are classic, but not over used.

ThroughThickAndThin01 · 17/03/2016 17:40

Lovely names, I like all of them.

I love Flora.

I love William and Nicholas but mainly because of Will and Nick.

Nicholas is fab because it's a well known name but currently not popular.

Sophronia · 17/03/2016 18:06

My favourite are Flora and Nicholas too, and I also really like William.

mathanxiety · 17/03/2016 18:17

Another who likes Flora and Nicholas.

BunnyTyler · 17/03/2016 18:25

YY to Flora & Nicholas Smile

IoraRua · 17/03/2016 21:18

Dislike Flora a lot, reminds me of butter.
Sophia, lovely but popular if that bothers you.
Personal hatred of Harriet!

William - grand, bit blah imo.
Nicholas - nice, you need to be ok with people calling him Nick or Nicky though.
Nathaniel - nice, you need to be ok with Nate as a nn.

Hassled · 17/03/2016 21:19

I don't like Nathaniel but I can't explain why. Girls names are all lovely - Flora is my favourite.

Pippafisher · 17/03/2016 21:50

Definitely flora and William for me, although Nathaniel is a close second, as is Harriet. My sister is Harriet and I think its lovely shortened to Hattie. Flora was my first choice, but have an f surname 😣

ashesandfire · 17/03/2016 21:56

I really like Flora, Nicholas and Nathaniel

cornishglos · 17/03/2016 22:37

I like Sophia and William.

DramaAlpaca · 17/03/2016 22:39

I like all of them, especially Nicholas and Nathaniel.

Ceeceecee · 19/03/2016 20:14

I love Flora and William

MrsEricBana · 19/03/2016 20:17

Love them all. Nicholas would def be called Nick which is fine but possibly bit plain (lots of my school friends were called Nick back in the 70s/early 80s so to me it feels a bit like Paul, Simon, Debbie, Karen).

RockUnit · 19/03/2016 21:54

I like Sophia and all the boys names.

SanityClause · 19/03/2016 22:01

I like all the names on your list. One of my DC is called one of the names, so we must have similar taste!

I like Hattie as a nickname for Harriet.

applecatchers36 · 19/03/2016 22:12

Sophia and William are my favourites from your list

PunkAssMoFo · 20/03/2016 09:02

Harriet & nathaniel.
Sophia & William are lovely but v popular
I don't like flora or Nicholas

NerrSnerr · 20/03/2016 09:06

I love Harriet and Nicolas.

crapfatbanana · 20/03/2016 09:07

They're all fine names. Not my sort of thing, but perfectly decent names. Good list.

MadameJosephine · 20/03/2016 09:28

Don't like Flora, can't help thinking of margarine. Love Sophia but there are far too many of them at the minute so I would go with Harriet from your list which is lovely.

Not keen on Nicholas, I quite like Nathaniel but William is one of my favourite names ever, second only to James which is my DS's name.

So Harriet and William for me

ShowOfHands · 20/03/2016 09:34

They're normal, recognisable names. Nothing offensive or remarkable about any of them.

NoahVale · 20/03/2016 09:36

not son keen on Nicholas,
would you use Nick or Nicky?

neither am I keen on Nathanial.
would you use NAthan or NAt?

the girls names I have no issue with at all.

LightTurquoise · 20/03/2016 15:55

They're all good names - I've put them in my favourite order:

  1. Sophia
  2. Harriet
  3. Flora
  1. William
  2. Nathaniel
  3. Nicholas
