Girls name to go with George and Peter

ProfessorPickles · 17/03/2016 10:38

I've always struggled with girls names and can never seem to find one I love, where George and Peter came to me easily and I never changed my mind again.

Girls names I like are:
-Anna
-Rosie
-Matilda
-Emily

Emily is the winner so far, it used to feel like a plain name when I was younger but now it feels pretty for some reason.
Anna is a very close second.

Any other suggestions? Boys names seem to come so easily to me where I never have a doubt but girls names are a nightmare for me!

Emily is pretty but I prefer all of the other three. Matilda is my favourite by far. All nice names though and all go well with George and Peter. I don't think you can lose with any of them.

But if you want other ideas, then I also think George and Peter go well with:

Amy, Abigail, Alexandra, Bethany, Bryony, Claire, Chloe, Danielle, Daisy, Emma, Eleanor, Erin, Frances, Florence, Grace, Hannah, Harriet, Holly, Isabel, Imogen, Jessica, Joanna, Jennifer, Juliet, Katie, Katherine, Lily, Lydia, Lucy, Madeleine, Melissa, Miriam, Molly, Naomi, Natasha, Natalie, Olivia, Phoebe, Philippa, Rebecca, Rhiannon, Sophie, Sarah, Stephanie, Susannah, Tabitha, Victoria, Vanessa, Zoe

I like Louisa, and Ellen/Helen.

Really good suggestions thank you!

None are jumping out at me as the right one still but hopefully one will eventually Grin

Middle name would be Anne, unless I decide on Anna of course!

I quite like the sound of:
Emily Anne Dawson
Mary Anne Dawson

Not our surname but similar ish.

I like Emily, particularly seems to be nice with George and Peter

Also Molly, Matilda, Amelia, Josephine.

Thurlow · 17/03/2016 13:02

Emily Anne is just lovely (biased, as one is my niece and the other is me Grin)

Anna is a great name too. How about Marianne?

OneMagnumisneverenough · 17/03/2016 13:03

Elizabeth seems the obvious choice but Emily and Anna both go well as do the other names you like.

Meredith
Eloise
Carla

Eliza
Jessica
Caroline
Annabelle

Rosaaa · 17/03/2016 13:42

I like all your names though would have preferred Rose over Rosie.
Also Julianna, Catherine or Stephanie

Sophronia · 17/03/2016 13:51

I love Mary Anne. Mary is so underused nowadays.

Go with Mary! She'll definitely be the only one in her class, it's easy to spell and goes beautifully with your boys names!

poocatcherchampion · 18/03/2016 19:58

I came on to say Rosie. Or Harriet

SoftSheen · 18/03/2016 20:11

Emily is lovely.

Some other suggestions:

Marianne
Rosamund
Annabel
Emmeline

IoraRua · 18/03/2016 20:57

Lucy, Lucille, Sylvia, Jennifer, Sophia, Beatrice, Bethany, Sara, Holly, Sadie, Rosa, Rosalie, Helen, Ellen, Elena, Laura, Lauren, Laurel, Elizabeth, Catherine, Kate, Ruth, Michaela, Fiona could all work.

I like your list - nothing really standing out to me but nothing awful at all either.

IoraRua · 18/03/2016 20:58

Although I do think Mary is great! Or Maria/Marie possibly?

ProfessorPickles · 18/03/2016 21:16

I feel the same Rua, I like them all and think they're nice but none are really standing out either!
