I've made a list of girl names I like as everyone I rhyme off hubby says no. So this is my short list of names he will hopefully pick from what is ur favourite ??

Jessica the most, yes its popular but as others said not loads around, all Jessica's I know are beautiful, popular and energetic, would definitely call future daughter this.

Isabella lovely also as similar feel.

Nice- Emily, Ava or Eva.

Definite no's - Imogen, Layla, Rosanna- all a bit boring and straight sounding.

Try referring to your bump with a new name every week and trying it out for size. Only between you and your DP/DH though We very rapidly shelved names which we loved on paper but did not roll off the tongue for us.

Thanks everyone ! Think I've stroked Ava and Eva of the list as they r just too popular ! Hubby hates Freya so that's of. I'm now in 2 minds about Isabella. Harmony would have been the name as someone suggested but my friend took that one 2 months ago. Y is it so hard to come up with a name...

Loads of these were on my list and I loved them but they are mostly so popular they have lost their specialness

Isabella - my favourite name for years but very very popular
Jessica - overused
Freya - always loved this but find it a bit weak now
Rosanna/rose - nice
Melody - Disney name
Lola - totally over-used
Ava - oh god, sooooo popular
Layla - common
Imogen - love it but it's another very popular one
Emily - very popular
Eva - so many Evas and Avas

I like Imogen and Rose.
