Christmas associations for me too - and I doubt it's just me. Yes, it's evergreen, but hugely bound up with the iconography of Christmas/cards/decorations.

Holly was always a popular name when I was at school (27 now) but you don't hear of many babies nowadays called Holly, so it is a name I like and considered for my own. Although I'd prefer Hollie. .

Lovely name! Just spell it the right way - Holly! Can't stand Hollie or any other bizarre spelling.
