Is it too old-fashioned? Possibly the NN Dot/Dotty Smile

Love the name Dorothy! Like previous posters it brings to mind The Wizard of Oz - which is definitely not a bad thing!

I know a 12 year old Dorothy.

Her friends call her Dozza.

I absolutely love this name and it was well up on our list for a girl. We have a treasured family member with the same name who went by Doffy, which I think is really cute, but I like Dot and Dotty too. Some great nickname potential!

I love it. It's not horrible at all. Also recently met an 80 year old Dottie and never thought about it meaning 'mad'. At 80 she can do the splits and regularly does trapeezing and skateboarding. She is awesome!

Hate it, not pretty at all.
