Amelia and Amalia are very very popular, as is Sophia. Unless you don't want your child being one of many in the class it doesn't really matter though.
Scarlet is ok.
Amalia is alright but not really keen on it.

I know it's hard when names are popular, but I guess they are popular because they are nice. Originally we loved Ava, but again so so popular. Any other suggestions welcome

I'm not sure what you find. But at my school, it is very unusual to have two children with the same name in the same class. Even with very popular names, there are only two in a school of over 300 children. There is only one Amelia and only one Sofia.

I really like Sophia. Amalia is pretty. Less keen on the others.

Similar to mine! Love Amelia and I'm considering Emilia. Amelie was my fav for ages.

FWIW there are no children with those names in DD's class. I'm still to come across an Olivia despite it being apparently 10 a penny. So I would choose the name you like best, regardless of popularity.
