I've always loved this name, but rarely hear it nowadays... Is it awful?

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Too like Camel imo.

I also think little stretcher or little bed.

Izzyathome · 23/01/2016 22:15

Yes love it. Conjures up a beautiful rich girl - nothing wrong with that! Love Camille too and great nn options.

BossWitch · 23/01/2016 22:16

I know a baby Camilla. Still can't get past the Parker-Bowles association! Agree I prefer Camille.

StitchesInTime · 23/01/2016 22:19

I love it. But DH vetoed it because of the royal connection.

GrinAndTonic · 23/01/2016 22:28

My DM is Camilla. My middle name is Camilla. If I ever have a DD she will get Camilla as a name somewhere.
They can be Cammie, Millie, Milla for short.

CrystalMcPistol · 23/01/2016 22:31

Cammie is a nice nickname, much nicer than Millie imo.

CruCru · 24/01/2016 14:37

I love it.

kansasmum · 24/01/2016 14:42

It's my name! Have had various nicknames-Milla, Cam but never Millie funnily enough. Wasn't keen on my name when a kid but love it now.
People tend to assume I'm quite posh because of my name, til I open my mouth and they realise I'm quite normal!

AliciaMayEmory · 24/01/2016 14:43

I love it! Smile

I have a Milla, I still love her name and she gets lots of compliments for it, I think Camilla is lovely and have lots of ways of shortening if you wish.

Girls names from 1996-2013. It isn't a popular name, no more than 66 born in any year.
