Is it ready for a come back? Quite like it. My others are

Orli (Hebrew name)
Keziah
Lorelei
Molly

And for boys it's Ezra Wink

Hunniford. Sorry Grin

I think Gloria looks pretty written down. And the meaning of it, glorious.
However the GL sound is quite harsh.
Lorelei is better. Flora? Dora? Aurelia?

iciclewinter · 21/01/2016 21:19

Gloria is a lovely name. I also like Keziah.

PunkAssMoFo · 21/01/2016 21:23

You'll be ahead of the curve, but Gloria is fabulous imo.

Not so keen on pandora.

SoftBlocks · 21/01/2016 21:27

Don't like Gloria but Orli is nice. I like Ezra too but it is getting very popular. Don't understand the appeal of Molly.

parrotonmyshoulder · 21/01/2016 21:31

I think it's fabulous.

I also love Deborah. And Joanna.

But I've finished naming my children (both have wrong decade names and I love it).

Suzietwo · 21/01/2016 21:32

I like Gloria but bit worried how often I've seen it mentioned in v short period of time!

I don't think I'd use it

PooDogMillionaire · 21/01/2016 21:54

Blimey is Ezra getting popular? I've only ever met one and he was very very cool, have always wanted to use it as was unusual!

I've taught for 25 years but I've never taught an Ezra or a Gloria!

Audreyhelp · 21/01/2016 22:20

Gloria is such an old name . Is this a joke ?

PooDogMillionaire · 21/01/2016 22:23

I bet that's what people said when they heard of all the Bertie's and Elsie's Wink

Sadly DH has also just told me he's not keen on Gloria... He looked a little perplexed when I mentioned it Hmm

I taught a Gloria. I really like it.

JakeyB · 21/01/2016 23:01

Fab name! I always picture a redhead with a voluptuous figure, red lipstick and a lovely warm smile. I'd love to have been a Gloria. sobs
