Really struggling with a name for ds2.

Our ds1 is Harry and I adore the name.

The only name both dp and I have agreed we both like is George. Is it too popular now? We are in Scotland and Harry doesn't seem as popular here as in England.

All of the other names we like are taken or one of us doesn't like.

Our girls name we'd chosen was Sophie.

I don't know any Georges of any age (child) and I'm in the Borders. I think George might be popular in England but around here people tend to go for more Scottish names.

George has certainly made a comeback because of Prince George, but if you like it do t let that stop you! My SIL named her little guy George, he was born just after Christmas and suites him beautifully.

We've been through all of the Scottish names I like but as dp knows a lot of people with Scottish names he us out off due to what they are shortened toot that people he doesn't like has a name we liked Confused

I wouldn't say it was that popular!

My OH and I really like it for a boys name but I have a female version of it and just not sure I can bring myself to name my son after me! Hmm

I don't think so. All the Scottish Georges I know are over 50.

I'm in Scotland and don't know anyone called George who isn't 50+.
