Choosing a name is so difficult!

Currently 33 weeks so conscious of how much time we have left to decide. We are expecting a boy and have made a shortlist of 4. Opinions would really be appreciated!

George Donald
Edwin George
Dexter George
Henri George

As you can see, we would like to have George in there somewhere either as a first name or a middle name.

Surname begins with S and fairly regular. Nothing that could cause conflict in names.

TIA Smile

I like Dexter George.

I'd avoid Donald, but that's because it currently makes me think of Trump

Theresomethingaboutdairy · 18/01/2016 11:49

Henry George. Not Dexter and not keen on Donald.

Allalonenow · 18/01/2016 12:04

Edwin is fab and is my favourite, with Donald second.

George would be better used as a middle name as there are so many ATM.
Not Henri with that spelling, and not keen on Henry.
Not Dexter.

toffeeboffin · 18/01/2016 12:55

Edwin George.

Love Edwin.

toffeeboffin · 18/01/2016 12:56

Hate Dexter, just think of the serial killer.

KoalaDownUnder · 18/01/2016 13:02

Henry, but only with that spelling
George
Edwin
Dexter (if you must - don't like this one at all)

SantasLittleMonkeyButler · 18/01/2016 13:03

Dexter George definitely.

Henry is fine, but needs to be spelt with the y rather than the i unless you are French and plan to pronounce the name On-ree.

Edwin is OK, we met a little Edwin on holiday a couple of years ago. It was quite cute on him, but still rather too 'old man' for me.

George is lovely but there are so so many about at the moment. If you have a common surname, he may be one of many George Surname's throughout life.

Bluesand1 · 18/01/2016 13:20

George or Henri

UntilTheCowsComeHome · 19/01/2016 00:20

Dexter George is lovely

CormoranStrike · 19/01/2016 20:02

George Donald

CPtart · 19/01/2016 20:16

Henry (not Henri) George.
Actually prefer Edward (not Edwin) George.

bojorojo · 19/01/2016 20:30

Use the whole lot! Why not?

LoopyLily · 19/01/2016 20:32

Henry George if spelt with a Y.

Or George Henry don't like Donald, like Dexter though.

mathanxiety · 20/01/2016 02:21

Edwin George or Henry George (not Henri). Any of your name combinations except Dexter actually.

NoncommittalToSparkleMotion · 20/01/2016 02:23

Edwin George...love it
