Baby names and baby name book

Hello, just passed the 12 week mark so starting to feel like I can legitimately think about name now. Have written my list below but would welcome any thoughts or suggestions. I think I've realised that for girls I like names that can't be shortened too much. This is DS1 so I don't know what's that common amongst similar aged children.

Girls-
Rose (too common?)
Lucy (again too common?)
Kate
Emma
Florence
Elsie

Mn- Elsie or Nora, Both family names but DH won't let me have Nora I don't think

Boys-
Rafe (our surname begins with F though so when said does it sound like you're saying Ray?)
Jeremy (DHs choice but I'm not sure)
Samuel (love it but DH doesn't like Sam)
Luke

Mn- will be Edward

Also I'd like to get a baby name book (UK) so we can look together as ind online a little overwhelming, any recommendations?

Katie is pretty popular. I know it's not on your list, but I don't know if it's close enough to Kate to bother you.

I like all the girls names- especially Florence, but I didn't realise how popular it had become and that would put me off.

Of the boys names I like Luke and Samuel best :)

Yes stiches I'm not sure either, Kate is a recent addition after seeing it mentioned a few times on here and it being the kind of style I like. But I grew up with a class full of Katy's and Katherine's so I'm not sure either for the same reason.

gunshot yes unfortunately Florence is one of those names that we think of as unusual because no one in our generation is called it but is very popular with babies now
