I am having this real problem about my baby's name. We chose the name Orla but then when she was 6 months i suddenly thought I preferred Poppy. We always liked Poppy but someone else we knew called there baby Poppy when we were both pregnant.
I also have a 3 and 5 year old, would they find it hard/weird to call her something else?she is now 8 months old

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Orla is gorgeous, Poppy's quite nice... If you're sure though I would just do it.

Oh Froggy I'd love to give you a big hug.

How long have you felt this way about the name? Is there anything in particular that you don't like about it?

Froggy34 · 11/01/2016 22:09

I do love the name Orla but I think I have developed o c d and can't except I've already got one child with an O and another one with L,so it's imbalanced and I can't handle it,there is no other solutions than to change her name or have another baby and call it an L name but that will never happen!!!!

OLO is nice and symmetrical. A palindrome.

I'm concerned this is your illness talking for you, Froggy. Could you set a date maybe - if you still feel strongly on her birthday you'll revisit it?

Thank you snuffles, you can legally change their name up until a they are a year.
Thanks for all your comments everyone x
