Erica or Clara

Finally narrowed our names down to these two. Any preferences? Baby due immenently. I think the plan is to see what she looks like and then decide.
I was never this uncertain with my son but have always found girls names more difficult.

Clara.

Totally agree that Erica is 70s. I also find it quite harsh-sounding.

Congratulations on your beautiful new bundle. I actually firmly believe that the child makes the name, so I'm sure Erica will be lovely on her!

When I first met DH, we (prompted by my nosy SIL) had a hypothetical discussion about what we would name our future children (we're talking second date here!).

Neither of us had a favourite boys' name, but we both said Erica for a girl! DH's choice was because he liked Eryka Badu... I prefer the traditional spelling.

We adopted eventually, so choosing Erica wasn't an option!
