Boys long list now.....

You were all amazingly helpful when critiquing my girls long list... Would love any thoughts on my boys names.

Our surname is a typical Yiddishe name ending in -man and beginning with Fr.

Jesse
Jasper
Casper
Leo
Elliot

There is a definite front runner which I won't say.

We already have a Jonah.

Jonah and jasper sounds odd to me, as does Jonah and Jesse... But how often would you say them together?!

Caspar and Jonah are both on my list for a future son.

Sorry but really don't like Jasper or Casper - they sound like pet dog or cat names to me.

I've always liked Jesse but there was a boy in my class at primary school who always got tormented for it for being a "girl's name.) I like Leo and Elliot from your list too :)

Jesse or Casper. Casper is on my list. Hate jasper but don't know why! DH suggested it earlier for our little one and I took instant dislike!

Jesse is a good name that will be good no matter what age. Casper to me still reminds me of the ghost.

I like all except Casper. It sounds a bit trendy and there is of course the ghost association. Casper Friedman just doesn't roll of the tongue. I like all of the rest, but my favorite is Leo.
