For a friend, as I've had all my bambinos.

I think they're too close tbh, and I want her to pick Aine, but she's having none Any other suggestions? Smile

I'd say they're too close, because they rhyme!

WildStallions · 28/12/2015 18:34

how do you pronounce nuala?

YouStillLookLikeAMovie · 28/12/2015 18:34

My test is "If you shout it up the stairs, will the relevant child be able to hear it's them and not their sibling being called".

I think Nuala and Orla are the kind of names that fail that.

She already has an Orla?

treaclesoda · 28/12/2015 18:35

I think they're nice together, I don't think they rhyme.Smile

Maybe I'm saying them wrong

HaWi · 28/12/2015 18:37

Oh, in that case - they're fine

Raines100 · 28/12/2015 18:37

Yes, she has an Orla already.

Very nice as long as Irish.

xmasseason · 28/12/2015 18:46

I think they're too similar.

Luckystar1 · 28/12/2015 18:48

I don't like Nuala, too old womany for me, but they go grand together not too alike. Maeve would be nice

Irishkez · 28/12/2015 19:09

I know one Nuala and its pronounced New-lur

Scarletforya · 28/12/2015 19:16

It's Noo-la !

I can't believe someone's calling a baby Nuala, but it's sort of cute.

wigglesrock · 28/12/2015 19:47

I think they're quite nice together, although I find Nuala quite dated. My 3 daughters have names that end in the same letter, two of them have names that end in the same two letters, they can differentiate when I gulder up the stairs Grin. I find Aine and Orla a bit samey.
