Susanna nice or not nice

What do people think of Susanna is it coming back or still out there. Thinking of it as a middle name potentially though DH now thinks he likes it better than our first name choice as he worries Elowen might be too out there!

Without the h as its a family name.

I like it (although I don't like Suzanne much). I know it's not a crazily unusual name but I am 40 and don't think I've ever met someone called Susannah in my entire life.

Yika · 08/12/2015 21:02

Very pretty.

Lottiedaydreambeliever2014 · 08/12/2015 21:03

I love it, Susie is such a cute name for a nickname

Themodernuriahheep · 08/12/2015 21:48

Mozart and the Bible don't have an h... It's a family name in the Heep family too.

Minty82 · 08/12/2015 21:54

Beautiful - was very high up our list for DC2 (who turned out to be a boy...) Pretty without being frilly, underused without being odd, biblical and operatic credibility, cute on a child, classy on a grown up, with lovely nn options...At this rate I'm going to talk myself into DC3!

DramaAlpaca · 08/12/2015 21:58

I like it very much.

Pancakeflipper · 08/12/2015 22:00

I love it !

Maevetherave1980 · 08/12/2015 22:16

Mostly thumbs up then. I think Susan perhaps 1970s..DH now suggesting Susannah Elowen rather than Elowen Susannah, I'm not sure

Lovely! I don't like Susan or Suzanne, but I think Susannah is lovely (another one who prefers it with the h) I like Susie and Sanna as nns

Riderontheswarm · 08/12/2015 22:20

Very nice.

stopitcaroline · 08/12/2015 23:39

I love Susannah! I do prefer it with the 'h' but Susanna is beautiful also. It's my top name. I like it with the nickname Annie or in full. I think it's just so beautiful and soft, and it's so underused!

CelestiaLuna · 08/12/2015 23:42

It's nice but Sue is awful

DandyDan · 09/12/2015 07:51

Love it. Prefer it without the h on the end.

FunkyPeacock · 09/12/2015 07:55

It's lovely. I know a 15 yo Susannah and it suits her very well

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 09/12/2015 07:57

Susannah Elowen is lovely - far prefer that to the other way around.

Sophronia · 09/12/2015 09:17

Susannah Elowen is perfect.

fanjodisfunction · 09/12/2015 10:00

I like Susanna but prefer it splet Susannah. It's great as a middle name, and I love the shortening of Suki.

squoosh · 09/12/2015 12:50

Gorgeous name.

squoosh · 09/12/2015 12:50

with the H though.

celtictoast · 09/12/2015 15:00

Elowen Susannah

Ipushedmygrannyaffabus · 09/12/2015 17:23

One of my absolute favourite names. Susanna Elowen is gorgeous.

Pooka · 09/12/2015 17:26

I prefer it without the H, definitely.

NadiaWadia · 10/12/2015 04:28

I think either with or without the 'h' is equally nice. What I don't like so much is it spelled with a 'z' in the middle - 'Suzanna(h)'. For some reason, that just doesn't look so pleasing written down, though obviously sounds just the same.

MrsMarigold · 10/12/2015 13:46

Lovely name
