Hi All,
Have a registration appointment booked for tomorrow and need to decide on a middle name. Could you help choose between Edward Alexander or Edward James, please?
Many thanks!!!

Love Edward Alexander . James is a lovely name too but I prefer Alexander with Edward . Congratulations Thanks

I love Edward Alexander too - it's seems to flow better, though both are lovely! Congratulations Flowers

Blahia · 06/12/2015 18:38

Edward Akexander sounds better even though I prefer James as a name in its own right!

IoraRua · 06/12/2015 18:40

Edward Alexander here too.

ThroughThickAndThin01 · 06/12/2015 18:44

Alexander

PurplePenguin25 · 06/12/2015 18:46

Alexander

donajimena · 06/12/2015 18:48

Edward Alexander

LynetteScavo · 06/12/2015 18:51

I like both, but prefer James.

clairedunphy · 06/12/2015 18:51

Just to be different, Edward James was our choice if we'd had a boy (names of granddads on each side), so that's my decision.

Both lovely though.

What does your surname start with and how many syllables does it have?

celtictoast · 06/12/2015 19:09

Edward Alexander

handonhip · 06/12/2015 19:19

I think Edward James flows beautifully!

SoupDragon · 06/12/2015 19:22

Edward James.

I think Edward Alexander sounds awkward.

NickNacks · 06/12/2015 19:23

Answered this question on Thursday and you never returned to the thread Confused

Oops!

Edward Alexander

Thank you all! Our surname is 3 syllables, of Russian origin, something like Sokolov. Still undecided :(

With a long surname I'd go for James (although I might be biased as it's ds1's middle name).

Christmas2015 · 07/12/2015 12:19

What about Edward James Alexander?

StrawberryTeaLeaf · 08/12/2015 15:16

With a long surname I'd go for James

Yes, this.

Edward James - - ov has a good rhythm.
