I'm not wild about Caroline and can't think of any others.

Or what do we think of Carrie as a standalone name, is it too nicknames/babyish?

Thanks!

Carrie is fine as a name. A bit pointless to find a name you like then try to make it longer.

Carrie does make me think of an unpopular, bullied girl getting a bucket of pigs' blood chucked over her at prom... Sorry.

Had you considered Carey (as in Carey Mulligan, similar but more modern and without the above connotations)?

juneau · 30/11/2015 18:52

I know a Carrie who is just ... Carrie! Its a lovely name. If that's what you like, go for it.

Thanks everyone for the suggestions, you've also reassured that it's an acceptable name by itself (pigs blood aside!)
