Would you think - what the actual fuck? Grin
I kinda want it like this, but not sure... If not, it would be Elliott

I'm not a fan of it, and I think it will annoy the poor lad having to continually spell it out, correct people and explain why the spelling is that way.

MrsHathaway · 20/11/2015 11:45

I know several El(l)iot(t)s and I can never remember who has how many Ls and Ts. I should, I should, but there are so many and I just can't cope.

Eliot like that looks literary to me (TS Eliot, George Eliot) which I think elegant.

But it's a name I have heard too often so I don't like it any more.

I have an Elliot spelt the same as his great-grandad x

ktmummy1 · 21/11/2015 19:12

It looks wrong to me

NuggetofPurestGreen · 21/11/2015 19:14

I'd have thought that was the normal way!

Iliveinalighthousewiththeghost · 21/11/2015 19:19

I think itd fine. I wouldn't have noticed any different if you'd not pointed it out.

SoWhite · 21/11/2015 19:30

Looks wrong to me too.

celtictoast · 21/11/2015 19:35

I prefer the spelling Elliott.

FlipperDipper · 21/11/2015 20:20

I know people do stuff like this for personal reasons but unfortunately I think it ends up looking like the parents just didn't know how to spell!

DeepBlueLake · 21/11/2015 21:01

DS2 is spelt Elliott as that my Granddad's middle name.

It looks a bit short to me.
