His sister is Elizabeth.

So,

Edward and Elizabeth

or

George and Elizabeth?

Thank you!!!

Much prefer Edward. I know lots of people have a thing against siblings with the same initial, but I don't think it's so important if they are not the same gender.

Edward has lots of lovely nicknames (Ed, Ted, Teddy, Bear, Woody, Ned). George does not.

Edward Smile

Yes Ted is a great name (from Edward). Heard it a lot more in the States but I think it's a nice name :)

Edward - and I say that as someone who's maiden surname was George.

Both are lovely, I think I slightly prefer Edward though. Smile

marmiteontoast76 · 04/11/2015 16:23

George

ColdTeaAgain · 04/11/2015 16:27

Edward. One of the few names I wouldn't mind if shortened as I like Ed as well.

George and Elizabeth just sounds far too royal!

CPtart · 04/11/2015 16:29

Edward (no nicknames)

LizzieMacQueen · 04/11/2015 16:32

Edward

But surely it would be Elizabeth and Edward given that she came first.

clarabellski · 04/11/2015 17:09

Another vote for Edward!

Utterlyclueless · 04/11/2015 17:11

Edward, and congratulations! :)

pilates · 04/11/2015 20:44

Edward George sounds great.

ashesandfire · 04/11/2015 21:57

Edward
There are loads of Georges and it's just a bit TOO regal with Elizabeth

Whichonetochoose · 06/11/2015 11:13

Thanks, everyone! We were also leaning towards Edward, my only concern was that both siblings names would begin with the same initial "E". The post confusion doesn't bother me, I am more worried that the same initial makes the names appear to "matchy" and that they don't go as well together as a result. Is it a valid concern or am I being silly?

Elizabeth and Edward. Both names have loads of fab shortening so they'll probably end up with different initials for every day anyway.

DingleberryDip · 06/11/2015 11:22

Edward

Roomba · 06/11/2015 11:25

Both are lovely names. I was going to say George, that was my initial instinct, but then I though Edward can also be Teddy/Ted which I love so I'm going to say EDWARD. Final decision Smile!
