Hi
Me and my husband are expecting our second boy in 4 weeks time, we have a 12 month old called Archie and we simply cannot agree on a baby name for boy number two!! The only name we currently both like is Chester but would it be a joke name given we live in Chester (and actually on Chester Road!) as I'm writing this I know it sounds a joke!!!! But we do really like the name!!!!! My other faves are George, Max, Noah and Rex. I don't like my husbands faves of Reggie and Finlay. Comments welcomed!!!! Xxxxx

Move and then it would be ok......

Smartiepants79 · 02/11/2015 21:59

Just no.
I like Max.

timelytess · 02/11/2015 22:00

Don't call your baby Chester. There isn't a reason on earth to justify doing that to a child.

Smartiepants79 · 02/11/2015 22:00

Chester is more of a name for a pet anyway.

Run247 · 02/11/2015 22:01

I once knew a fluffy cat with that name, he was a cute cat!

RabbitSaysWoof · 02/11/2015 22:01

Imagine the envelopes addressed to him:

Chester Surname

Chester

Just... no.

BikeRunSki · 02/11/2015 22:09

I was going to say it was OK, until I saw that you live in Chester Road as well.

You either need to move, or get a dog.

Natalie8585 · 02/11/2015 22:10

Ha ha u have all made me lol! Just told my husband it's off the list!!!! Back to drawing board ;-) god it's so hard!!!! Lee from Leigh is funny but not as funny as Chesters address would be!!! X thanks all

I knew a Chester when I was growing up. He & each of his brothers were named after where they were conceived.

WednesdayRebel · 02/11/2015 22:21

What about Stirling? I know brothers who are Findlay and Stirling.

Suddenlyseymour · 02/11/2015 22:23

Hope your surname isn't zoo.....

Natalie8585 · 02/11/2015 22:24

Not heard of that one before, it's unusual. I quite like single syllable simple names, just need to work on the other half Wink

You could just move. My hypothetical second DD will be called Marina, even though we live very near one. Grin
