Baby due in Dec and we are team surprise. I really like Emily, Isabelle, Olivia, Charlotte but all these names seem to be extremely popular at the moment.
Any suggestions for slightly more unusual/less used names I might like for a girl?

I like Elodie, Violet and Alice. I also like Evelyn but 'Evie' seems to be very high on the charts also.
As I currently have no children I don't really know how reflective these popularity charts are to real life. Do people find it's fairly consistent? E.g. Emily is very high, do mumsnetters know lots of children called Emily?

I know quite a few Emilys but it is a nice name so that's why it's popular.

How about:
Eleanor
Annabel
Ava

I know lots of Emilys but they are all teenagers actually. Olivia is popular from early twenties right down to babies around me. Isabelle/Isabella/Isobel/Isabel etc one in a year group in both primary and secondary schools near me.

You might also like Eleanor, Elizabeth, Antonia and Emma.

One of my daughters is called Olivia - she's the only one in her school year (she's 8) and the only one of three in the primary school - it's all very regional/localised. I know 2 kids with seemingly very infrequently used names who ended up in the same school year. I know 2 Emily's (1 under 1 and a nine year old) no Isabel/Isobel/Isabelle's but 2 Isabella's, no Charlottes.

The other names on my lists apart from Olivia (I've 3 daughters, I've included their middle names as well) were :
Tess
Juliet
Sofia
Sadie
Nina
Mary
Rebecca
Cara
Anna
Rosa
Stella
Elena
Frances

If my first born was a girl, she would have been an Olivia and if my second born was a girl, she would have been an Emilia, so you might like that? :)

There are 3 x Emily among 24 girls in 7yo DS's yr group. The rest seem to be called Caitlin. Grin

Less common but still classics:
Catherine, Hannah, Julia, Claudia, Alexandra, Sophia, Sarah, Helena (dozen pronunciations),
