Have a girls name ready to go but can't think of any boy names. The only one I like is William and it's just too similar.

Any ideas?

It's quite nice but I don't think it's my 'son' (fussy!) :)

That's my cats name Grin and it doesn't go with my surname (same name as a well known gentleman in politics Grin)

I absolutely love Hugo but unfortunately it's definitely out - one in very immediate family. (I'm actually hoping it's a girl, as I am stuck.)

I like literary names - Wilfred was named after the poet, and have tentatively thought of Charles (Charlie) which seems to go nicely with Wilfred, and Edward (Ted). I also like Samuel and Thomas, but they all seem really overused.

Bit late to this, but fwiw my Wilfred's brother is Edward, known (for now, at least) as Teddy. Could be Ted, Ned, Ed, so options for him to choose when older. Both are Anglo-Saxon in origin, so seem to fit together well.

We seem to have similar tastes as I also really liked Hugo. Others along the same lines might be Milo or Ivo.
