How many little Lucys do you know?

Not pg but was just thinking how I haven't met any little Lucys at any baby groups. Is it one of those rare 'well known but not ubiquitous' names? Might add it to list for mythical DD!

Think I only know 1 that's 4, but lots over thd age if 10. So it's no where near as popular as it used to be x

Little in age or in stature?

I know quite a few girls called Lucy from age about 5 and upwards (one of two per year in 3 form entry primary). I don't know that many pre-school children these days, rather than any particular comment on number with that name younger than school age. I don't recall any of them being noticeably little for their age.

I know 3, one in her early 40's, one in her early 30's who are both very very successful beautiful strong women and the third it's my dd (age 1)

For something that's meant to be so popular u hardly know any, beautiful classic name

cornishglos · 29/10/2015 15:15

None, but I love it and am using it as a middle name as it's too close to my son's name.

LikeASoulWithoutAMind · 29/10/2015 15:18

I know lots of grownup Lucys. (mainly in their 30s and 40s)

1 who's 4 and 1 who's 13.

goldglittershitter · 29/10/2015 15:21

Lots from 0 - 13 n two adults. May be a regional thing?

fizzysweetie · 29/10/2015 15:25

I know one who is 4-5, and one adult. Distinct lack of Lucys in my life, apparently!

harryhausen · 29/10/2015 15:29

My dd is Lucy. She's nearly 11.

I chose the name because it comes from 'light' and she was at the crack of dawn. I was a bit put off at the time as the name was in the top 10.

She's in a large primary school and she's the only Lucy. I'm sure they'll be others in secondary though.

Elis1905 · 29/10/2015 15:34

I know about 2 -3 who are between newborn and age 2.

abbyjanerebecca93 · 24/11/2015 23:54

I have a little Lucy (age 2 1/2), haven't met another Lucy yet :)

hawkmcqueen · 25/11/2015 14:23

Know one Lucy who is 5, love her name, classic, simple and not over used.

reni2 · 25/11/2015 14:30

None, but a couple in their 40s.

Branleuse · 25/11/2015 14:36

one

Notso · 25/11/2015 14:45

15 yo DD knows 4.

I know two under 4.

It's not a name I like tbh.

MyNewBearTotoro · 25/11/2015 14:47

I know a four-year-old Luci (pronounced Lucy but just the different spelling).

ChipsandGuac · 25/11/2015 14:48

I know about 12, aged 12 and under. It is the one name that all my friends, past and present, really go for! My FB feed is like the attack of the Lucy's Grin

ChipsandGuac · 25/11/2015 14:49

And I know 4 dog Lucy's too.

WhyCantIuseTheNameIWant · 25/11/2015 14:56

One who is two
One is 12
One is 17.

There is another at swimming, about 8/9, but I think she is lucia.
