We have a dd and are expecting another girl in April. I would love some opinions of popularity of our name choices so far.

I love Kitty's name and would like something I love as much. Thinking ideally it wouldn't have an e/y sounding end as maybe too cutesy with one already.

I love Ada oh not keen....he loves Primrose (Posy/Prim). We both quite long is Penelope (Penny). Other possibles are Rosa, Beatrix, Golda, Elizabeth (Betsy/Eliza).

Not sure anything grabs me like our first DD even thou u get the odd person refer to cats!

Thanks for any suggestions. X

If you got Kathleen/Kitty and like Elizabeth/Betsy and Penelope/Penny it sounds like you like thing with little/informal and adult/formal options. A lot of those have ee endings but I've tried to think of some that don't too.

How about:

Abigail/Abbie
Annabel/Bella
Beatrice/Bea
Charlotte/Lottie
Constance/Connie
Cassandra/Cassie
Clarissa/Callie
Danielle/Dannie
Dorothy/Dotty
Evelyn/Eve
Felicity/Fliss
Francesca/Kessa
Gabriella/Ella
Giovanna/Vannah
Harriet/Hattie
Henrietta/Etta
Isabella/Bella
Isadora/Dora
Juliette/Jools
Josephine/Josie
Lillian/Lily
Matilda/Tilda
Madeleine/Maddie
Miranda/Mimi
Melissa/Lissa
Natasha/Tasha
Natalie/Talia
Olivia/Liv
Persephone/Sephy
Philippa/Pippa
Rebecca/Becca
Rosemary/Rose
Samantha/Sam
Stephanie/Steph
Tallulah/Lola
Victoria/Toria
Vanessa/Nessa
Vivienne/Vivi

What about Flora? I think Kitty and Flora go rather well together.

Betsy

Wow...thank your for all your suggestions. Manicinsomniac your list is briiliant i love lots of them and many i hadnt considered. I love cutesy floral girly names but struggle to see them as adult bames sometimes and like a grown up version for safety! Love beatrix i think as trixie/ bea are both lovely and hopefully not too popular?

I have an Isadora nn Dora and love Katherine/Kathleen nn Kitty for another girl. Also on our list -
Beatrice nn Betsy
Primrose nn Posy
Vivienne nn Vivi
Tabitha nn Tabby
Meredith nn Merry
All "ee" endings I know but don't think it matters too much! Manicinsomniac LOVE your list I might have to add some of those to mine Smile

Love Betsy and Martha. So gutted my kids were born in the era of 'cool names' :(
