I don't think Flynn goes. Theo and Lochlan do though although I prefer lochlan spelt Lachlan.

celtictoast · 10/10/2015 15:06

Theo

Kcooper26 · 10/10/2015 18:43

Anyone else??

OP, Lachlan is prnounced 'Lochlann' in Scottish Gaelic, if it helps.

mrstweefromtweesville · 10/10/2015 19:30

Any of those would be fine. I even go for Flynn. Flynn Kane.

daisydalrymple · 10/10/2015 19:34

I think all sound ok with your surname. I do think theo Kane has a certain flair to it, like he is SOMEBODY Smile a celeb in the making?!?

helentheheron · 11/10/2015 06:26

As pps said: great surname.

They all sound good. Are you Scottish or living in Scotland? Lachlan Kane does have a certain ring to it..

CakeRattleandRoll · 11/10/2015 07:34

Flynn Kane is a bit abrupt. I would choose something with more than one syllable. I love both Theo and Lachlan (spelt like that).

DeepBlueLake · 11/10/2015 10:27

Lachlan Lochlan is lovely and flows beautifully.

ThroughThickAndThin01 · 11/10/2015 10:32

I think Theo goes best.

I don't like Flynn Kane, it runs together to sound like a place name.

Kcooper26 · 11/10/2015 11:04

Thank you, i am scottish & live in scotland. Do u think If I spelled it Lachlan people would know to say Lochlan or am i gona have to keep correcting people.. Am i better spelling it Lochlan? X

I think people will know Lachlan is pronounced with an "o" sound rather than "a"
I do and I'm English with a Scottish dad

Lunastarfish · 11/10/2015 18:46

Flynn is my favourite name from your list but I don't think it works with your surname. Lachlan Kane works

ThroughThickAndThin01 · 11/10/2015 19:14

I'm from deepest South East England and I know its pronounced with an o.

imsorryiasked · 11/10/2015 19:55

I'm from deepest South East England and i didn't know :)
I think theo goes best with your surname.

Kcooper26 · 11/10/2015 20:16

What do yous think of Grayson Kane

OP posts:
FattyNinjaOwl · 11/10/2015 20:27

Ooh, I like Grayson Kane.

PitilessYank · 11/10/2015 20:46

I think a two syllable (or longer) name goes best with a monosyllabic surname. That would rule out Flynn for me.

PitilessYank · 11/10/2015 20:49

Lochlan/Lachlan is gorgeous. I would not know how to say Lachlan, but Lock-lan would be my guess.
