Due date is next week. Imogen has been top choice for the last few months but I'm wondering about Poppy now. Would welcome your thoughts. Thanks x

Imogen but it depends which sounds best with your surname.

PitilessYank · 10/10/2015 15:09

Can you name her Imogen but use Poppy as a nickname? I have special nicknames for each of my children, that only I use regularly. My kids think it's cute that Mom calls them a different name from everyone else.

Bubbletree4 · 10/10/2015 15:16

I know several of both. I think I prefer Imogen as Poppy is a but cutesy for my taste but it is still a nice name.

Imogen, very pretty for a little girl, yet also classy and grown up.

Poppy is currently in the top 10 girls names, but Imogen is racing up the charts and is also very popular at the moment.

Scoobydoo8 · 10/10/2015 18:10

Neither. Elizabeth.

Another vote for Imogen

I like Poppy too but think it suits a small girl better than a grown woman

JoeMommuh · 10/10/2015 19:01

Imogen. Poppy feels a bit too trendy/now/cutesie

Kaekae · 10/10/2015 20:17

To me they feel like completely different in terms of style of name. But like them both. I have a Poppy, it has become extremely popular, it wasn't when I named my daughter it but I hear it a lot now. I only know of one Imogen.

BeautifulLiar · 10/10/2015 20:20

Imogen. There are no ugly Imogens!

Moodyblue1 · 12/10/2015 21:08

Imogen is lovely. I really like Poppy too but I know 3 all under 2 so that would put me off a bit.

Yika · 12/10/2015 21:09

Imogen.

Poppy too cute. Better for a puppy.

PeasinPod1 · 13/10/2015 15:49

Poppy!! Can't stand Imogen, really overly twee and proper.

starkers1 · 13/10/2015 15:54

Another vote for Poppy. Graceful but quirky, feminine, slightly bohemian, Imogen is just that bit try hard for me and sadly, never met a non-bitchy/catty one either!

Zhabr · 13/10/2015 16:12

CPtart · 13/10/2015 20:29

Imogen.
The Poppy I know has siblings called Sonny and Alfie. So definitely Imoogen!

Siennasun · 13/10/2015 22:24

Imogen is nice.
Poppy is twee and, like Daisy, should be reserved for cows
