Baby's arrival imminent - can't decide on names.

I'm 32 weeks, but feel a sense of urgency to decide. My dh and I can't agree and he thinks we have lots of time left. We have some names on our lists (we don't know if it's a boy or girl) but none that I adore. We already have a 2 year old ds called Milo. Below are our frontrunners. Please feel free to suggest some more (we don't want anything too popular).

Boys:

Jed
Wes
Gabriel (but would be called Gabe)
Lenny
Rémy (my dh not keen on the last two)

Girls:

Inès
Ramona
Estelle

Love your girls list.

Most of the boys names appear to be shortened versions. Would you actually give the full name and then shorten? I can relate I shorten everything.

We wouldn't give a longer version of Jed - he would be just Jed, but Wes would have the full name Wesley. I don't think we'd use the full version though.

Wow, I would say your girls names are the total opposite end of the spectrum to Milo! But I'm generally in the 'siblings don't need to match' camp so I don't know why I'm saying that.

I really like Gabriel. Would Wes be short for anything?

Ramona is really cool and I know a lovely little one.

For me it would be Gabe and Ramona.

Wesley or Estelle.

Stella [I think it works with Milo better]
or Ines [which is lovely but tricky if you are UK based as it will always be mispronounced

Ramona is great and sounds fab with Milo IMO. I like Ines too but not Estelle which reminds me of the crazy agent in Friends!

Ha, ashes, I was afraid people would think of her! I do really like Gabriel, but I'm just slightly worried about playground namecalling (ie 'Gabe is gay'). Am I over-thinking things? It looks like Ramona is the most popular here out of my girls names. That's good.

Any more suggestions for names?
