Shortlist:
Eduardo
Monaco
Cuba
Dillion
I also like Teddy but I don't like any long names to get Teddy as a nn. Eduardo is the favourite but I am cautious of nn "Eddy" which I can't stand.

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
mathanxiety · 04/10/2015 23:09

Theodore is a long name that gets shortened to Ted or Teddy a lot .
(Like president Theodore Roosevelt of the US who was always known as Teddy, and hence the teddy bear).

I wouldn't fancy any of your list names.

Epilepsyhelp · 04/10/2015 23:11

I was going to come on and say Luca to go with your dds names but I see you have a shortlist. Dillon is the only one I like of those, Cuba and Monaco I really dislike as names, sorry.

Madamnit · 04/10/2015 23:11

Ooh I came on to say Luca too!

SmugairleRoin · 04/10/2015 23:13

Sofia and Monaco/Cuba sounds like you have some kind of place name trend thing going on.

Eduardo is the best of that lot.

Epilepsyhelp · 04/10/2015 23:34

madam it really goes doesn't it!

NegativeIron · 05/10/2015 00:13

Eduardo is the best of your list, in part because like Emilia and Sofia it is a proper Italian name.

Cuba and Monaco sound as though you are trying too hard and they don't go.

Dillon, why go Welsh/US at this point?

Luca, Marco, Giovanni, gianni, Iago, Francisco, jeronimo, Jacopo, Theo..Raimondo, Hugo, Alberto, Alfredo, Claudio,

Teddy is a nn for Theodore, Edward, Edmund.

5BlueHydrangea · 05/10/2015 00:20

Funny, I thought Luca too!
OP, call him Luca!

Of your list Eduardo or maybe Dillion (will be called Dylan..)
No to Monaco or Cuba. Def no.

mrsschu · 05/10/2015 09:07

Eduardo is by far the best on your list. Ted/Teddy are also nn for Edward so at a push you could also use them as nn for Eduardo? Not keen on Dillon. Cuba and Monaco are horrific, sorry. Luca is lovely.

Fugghetaboutit · 05/10/2015 09:15

Lorenzo - nn Enzo

PestoSwimissimos · 05/10/2015 09:24

I came on here to suggest Luca too Grin

catlover91 · 05/10/2015 17:39

I don't know if I could warm to Luca and I wouldn't like him to be called Luke as nn are there any longer names to get Luca as nn? I also don't want to only have names ending in A because I feel that if I have more I'll be restricted to A endings so they are not 'left out' if I make any sense. I am open to other suggestions that match the girls names!!

OP posts:
mathanxiety · 05/10/2015 18:14

Theodore?

I agree with you about not making a thing out of A endings.

Edmund
Edwin
Edgar (all of these could give you Ted or Teddy as a nn)

Leo
Adam
Oliver
Oscar
Henry

Isaac
Joseph
Jacob
Anthony
Alexander
Frederick
(all have decent nicknames)

I think I like the sound of Emilia, Sofia and Freddie (or Teddy)

mathanxiety · 05/10/2015 18:15

Posted too soon:
Nicholas
Dominic
Damien

DonkeysDontRideBicycles · 07/10/2015 16:50

Of your list I prefer Eduardo. Otherwise:
Cruz
Javier
Dante
Adrian

Hopesicles · 03/11/2015 00:23

I think Oliver goes well... x

WomanScorned · 03/11/2015 00:30

I'm not hugely keen on any of them - sorry Blush
But I do like Edward, Edgar, and Edmund, so would go with Eduardo, from your list. Any of the above could give you Ted/Teddy.
I prefer some of those suggested above, particularly Xavier and Dante.

IrritableBitchSyndrome · 03/11/2015 00:42

Haha... came on to suggest Luca :) like half of PPs!
