Eliza Elodie Eleanor?

...as a sister for Ted (Edward)
I love old fashioned, slightly unusual names and have recently found out that were expecting a little girl. My favourite at the moment is Eliza Rose.
Any thoughts?
Would you/could you shorten Eliza in any way?

Eliza and Elodie are beautiful. I don't like Eleanor - it's quite a harsh and unattractive name in my opinion.

Eliza could be shortened to Lizzie which I like with Ted, but would personally use Eliza.

either eliza or elodie. elodie is my favourite. i would have loved this name but our surname ends in ley so it would have rhymed!

eleanor is quite a solid name, nice but nothing to love about it.

eliza and elodie sound like little fairies you'd find in a victorian garden or maybe not!

all three work with ted but to me eleanor and ted sound like a political pair. see above... i over think!

I love Eleanor (wanted it for our DD, but DH vetoed as it's the name of a friend of his Mum), and Elodie is lovely. Not a big fan of Eliza, but there's nothing wrong with it of course, just not to my taste. All three go well with Ted.

Thank you for your lovely comments. I've liked Eliza since very soon after I found out I was pregnant. I quite like Elodie and Eleanor was thrown in for opinions as it was on my list.
It's very much looking like Edward James' little sister will be Eliza Rose.

Elodie is my favourite, I love it. I think maybe Eliza goes better with Ted though.

I love Eleanor. Such a beautiful name, and very classic but without being overused.

Really dislike Elodie. I think it sounds like you've missed the M off of Melody.

Elodie is too close to Elodea (pondweed) which we used in GCSE Science experiments. The other names are better.

Eleanor is really classic
Eliza sounds a bit 'witchy' and
Elodie - a bit too French tbh, not a nice sound in English.

I love these names - Eliza is gorgeous and goes beautifully with Ted. My middle name is Elodie and DD is Eleanor. Lovely lovely 'E's! :D

Sorry, the title was quite confusing

We have an Edward and Elizabeth (Lizzie) was our top choice for a girl. I think they feel like the same sort of name - classic and popular without being overused, and with lots of nicknames.

All your choices are beautiful but agree with pps - Elodie is a bit trendy and Eleanor and Ted sound like the Roosevelts - and would therefore go for Eliza.
