I have been watching an interview with Gigi Hadid this evening.

This has got me thinking - what could Gigi be short for? I think it's cute!

Hadid's name is very much a nickname - her birth name is Jelena - but does anybody have any legitimate options?

How would you pronounce Gigi? Jee Jee, Gee Gee, Jee Gee, Gee Jee..?

Any name starting with G could be shortened to Gigi imo eg Greta, Georgia.

We have a gg short for Georgina. We sometimes write GG sometimes Gigi.

It suits her.
