Boy's name Winston??

I am 32 weeks pregnant expecting a boy and still no idea on name.

We are now thinking Winston Lancelot Jasper. Crazy?
My husband wants two middle names to start with L and J as he and our DS both have. Anyway, I am not too fussed about middle names.

My personal shortlist now is:

Winston
Theodore
Alastair

Arrgghh.. I am so frustrated with all this name picking and none of the names really feel totally right..
Any suggestions or opinions on our name list?

I think we have fairly dissimilar taste, OP, but I like Theodore

I wonder if you'd like these:

Gregory
Hugh
Alexander
Michael

Winston is a great name!

I also like Alastair, but find Theo(dore) a little overused.

Winston is great and unusual. Reminds me of 1984.

Alistair also lovely and surprisingly underused.

Either would be lovely!

Really like Winston. Very cool but also classic. I know a local writer called Winn, very clever guy, made me like the nickname.

Haha much better than Lancelot!
I know you've done it now but what's with the matching middle initials?

Bovnydazzlers · 28/01/2016 03:46

That name is fab! Glad you changed the middle names :) Congratulations!

kristine007 · 28/01/2016 17:35

Thank you :) I am very happy with our choice and we hear lots of nice comments about the name.
My in-laws hate it though - they actually asked us to change his name.. and they don't even take much interest in our baby - all because they hate his name. How sad.

Obsidian, it's my husband's thing - he wants matching middle initials -don't ask why.. :)
