Shortlist of boy's names;

Igor ( Iggy)
Oscar ( Ozzie)
Adam ( AJ)
William ( Will, or Liam or just William!)
Isaac (Zac)

I mostly like Iggy tbh, rather than Igor, but can't think of any other name it can be used from.
AJ would be made from having a 'J' middle name.

Oscar has been my favourite of the bunch, but I'm aware of how popular it is.

I like William and Adam because both are solid names and not 'fashionable', but also not too outdated (I don't think).

I really can't find any boy's names that I really, really like Sad

Ooh Inigo! He'd have to put up with "wits" greeting him with "You killed my father! Prepare to die!" Twice a day for the rest of his life, but it still beats them hunching their shoulders and saying "Yesshhhh Master!"

Gasp, I know Adam is quite a 'safe' and 'usual' name, it was purely in the context of this thread I found it ironic calling Igor something out of Frankenstein, when Adam actually is Wink.

Not Igor! Really awful - Igor is the name of the creepy butler of some kind of evil scientist. I don’t even know where I got that from but it’s all I can picture.

From your list I like Oscar, Isaac and Adam but I don’t think you can select the nicknames at this early stage - nicknames emerge naturally and even if you call him something, his schoolfriends might not use the nickname or use a different one

I can't see the point of choosing a perfectly nice name like Adam and then calling him AJ (assume he will have a J middle name). AJ is worse than Igor.

Not Igor. The name has unpleasant associations in this Country re Frankenstein like monsters, vampires and bats
