Help!
Our beautiful daughter is one week old today and is still nameless. We are between Eva Rose, and Anya Rose , already have a Sophie Isabelle and a Lucy Hannah, our surname is the same as a certain golden arches fast food restaurant. ..

Thoughts please , we are totally undecided Smile

How are you pronouncing Anya?
Onya or Anya? My Irish DH pronounces it the first way which I don't like but love the second pronunciation.
Anna is my fave!

Dreya · 24/07/2015 23:17

Anna. Then Eva. Both lovely names. Congratulations!

MrsBungle · 24/07/2015 23:18

Anya.

My beautiful grand daughter is called Anya - and it's so unusual and lovely. The only thing is some of the teachers call her Anna. I like Anna but not as much as Anya. There are soooo many Eva's and Evie's about these days.

Lucaslovesfelicity · 25/07/2015 00:43

Anya gets my vote Smile

Lezprechaun · 25/07/2015 01:23

Anna goes lovely with your other names.

Quasilulu · 25/07/2015 01:26

Anya by miles. Congratulations ????

Whipnaenae · 25/07/2015 01:28

Anna.
I prefer Aine to Anya.

Ipushedmygrannyaffabus · 25/07/2015 01:41

Anna

I love Eva. I think it goes really well with Sophie and Lucy.

I think Anna and even Anya are too close to Hannah.

meerschweinchen · 25/07/2015 04:12

Anya

BothEndsBurning · 25/07/2015 10:48

Not Eva. Way too popular, especially if you include all the variations, which I do.

I prefer Anna to Anya.

Unless you have a family reason for choosing Rose, please be a little more adventurous. There are hundreds of fabulous names, why pick something that 50% of girls her age will be called.

Thoughtfulduck · 25/07/2015 10:58

Anya!

gluenotsoup · 26/07/2015 11:28

Thanks everyone! She is going to be Anya Rose. Anya was dh, s first choice , and seems to be dd 1 favourite too. We are going for Rose as a middle name even though it is very popular, as we have planted a rose for each child we have had, and also for the three we have lost, so it seems fitting to keep them in our lives this way.

Hope my three little girls grow up knowing how precious they areSmile

Absolutely gorgeous, and good on ya for letting us know your decision. Great choice! Smile

ashesandfire · 27/07/2015 17:49

Anya is beautiful and definitely my favourite of your three choices. Congratulations :)

MaryJPoppins · 27/07/2015 17:50

Eva

jo164 · 27/07/2015 22:11

I'm very biased, but Anya is a great choice! Mine is now 8 and not another one at her school yet :-) Congratulations
