Short girl's names ideas

SandmanSlim · 22/07/2015 22:21

I like short not too feminine names. DH likes more girly ones.

We have a Zoe.
So far we have Felicity (Flick) and Gwen (with a longer name to be decided) on our possible list.

Anyone got other ideas we should consider?

I love esme but I'm worried about it being too close to Zoe, same with all the "ie" ending ones.
Hmm maybe I'll put it on the list.

Meg and Alex are going on the list. I'd love a Faith (or a Hope) but DH has vetoed already!
Thanks for all the help!

If you like Meg it could be short for Megan?

SandmanSlim · 22/07/2015 22:35

DH is now gloating because he's been championing Hazel. Our list is looking better Thanks!

From the title I thought you wanted names for short girls. I'm quite short if you want to use mine...Grin

Mynd · 23/07/2015 23:19

My DD is Robin. I get a lot of lovely comments about her name.

Yarp · 24/07/2015 08:41

Mynd

I love Robin (although I think I prefer the Robyn spelling - don't know why)

DevaDiva · 24/07/2015 08:43

I have an Alex, NOT Alexandra, highly recommend it Grin

littleostrich · 24/07/2015 08:53

I think Zoe and Flick sound good together.

If you like Alex, have you considered Alix? I used to know a teen girl with that name - it wasn't short for anything - and I thought it was quite cool. Definitely suited her.
