Hi, sorry for posting on here so frequently as the moment but it's really helping! I've got a top girl's name, now for boys...
Big brother is Louis.

Osian
Eben
Daniel

Could you pick the best/ give reasons you dislike one or two?

Thanks

Osian. Daniel is nice but so popular and unimaginative. I dislike Eben and think it might get a bit "cult" and date quite badly. Osian is lovely, unusual whilst still being a real name, cute nickname too.

Osian. I also don't mind Eben. Personally, I find Daniel as dull as dish water.

Daniel. I wouldn't know how to pronounce the other two.

Daniel goes best with Louis.

That wasn't the game Ilikeliving... You're supposed to pick one, diss one or two, or not play! I get that everyone likes different names and I'm not trying to please 100% of the population, just get some helpful feedback! (Don't know why a medieval name is problem either MrsLeigh).

Thanks to all others.

I wasn't aware we were playing a game you asked for opinions on the names and asked us to choose one. Which I did.
Good luck with your baby

Osian is lovely.

Thanks. Not a game exactly but it says in the original post 'Could you pick the best/ give reasons you dislike one or two?' as I'm hoping to narrow it down.

Help! Your thoughts please...
We thought we'd agreed on Eva for our little one who arrived yesterday. But told one family member & suddenly not sure... Especially as with partner's surname she will be Eva Brownley... Already had it pointed by said family member similarities to Eva Braun...
Too similar?!

Osian to me sounds like you tried to call him Ocean but couldn't. I'd get used to it though (trying to be honest, not horrid!). I like Eben, but I like medieval names! Daniel is timeless though.

LOVE Osian! It would definitely have been on our shortlist if DD had been a boy. Ticks all boxes - unusual, cute nn, nod to Welsh heritage, nice meaning.

Daniel is OK, but pretty boring next to Osian. Never heard of Eben - is it pronounced ee-ben (too similar to Eden, or even) or ebb-en? Would nn be Ben? Not esp keen either way.

Daniel.

Eben would be Ebb-un. If shortened would be Eb. I love Ben but baby has a cousin Ben.

I like Eben, but I like medieval names.

I'm not keen on Osian, I think it sounds a bit too much like ocean, but like you can't say it properly.

Don't know why but my original post didn't show initially so wrote another!

Osian (pn osh-ann) is Welsh, Oisin is Irish (that's not to the OP but to others who have them confused. It's quite common here but I like it.

Eben always looks like a misspelling of Eden to me!

I'm not a Daniel fan.

I pick Osian!
