Just saw it in a baby names book and liked it. I don't know of any and think it's quite pretty.

Like it, had a great aunt called it, and she was cooool!

Allalonenow · 15/07/2015 20:43

Really like it, very pretty and not over used, and a lovely meaning too.

MrsPeeee · 15/07/2015 20:44

Well my H just vetoed it so never mind. Ha.

Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden's little girl is named Estelle. Was a very unexpected choice, and apparently got people talking there.

scribblegirl · 15/07/2015 22:39

I prefer Stella but I like :) boo your DH!

ashesandfire · 15/07/2015 22:44

I just think of Joeys mad agent in Friends. Sorry :/

StoneFoxMama · 16/07/2015 06:51

"Joey, its Estelle" joeys dead agent from friends. Despite this i actually love it, and this generation won't know the reference. Can't you work on H?? its different without being weird and has an elegant ring to it.

MrsPeeee · 16/07/2015 07:36

I'll mention it again as thinking on it overnight I still like it. Though he did reply 'no, don't like it'. Humph. Haha yes that's where I've heard it before!

Estelle? Yay or nay?

There was Estelle Getty from 'The Golden Girls' too.

Perhaps Estella has less of that 'old lady' vibe.

MitzyLeFrouf · 16/07/2015 11:34

Yay.

I love it.

Lunastarfish · 16/07/2015 11:35

I love it. Was very nearly my DDs name (& could still be the middle name as not registered yet)

Laquila · 16/07/2015 11:40

I love it, and Estella. Unusual and elegant.
