Surname is two syllables and is quite masculine/unattractive. Rhymes with bunion (eeeeww)

Looking for a feminine but not frilly middle name for Georgia.

I quite like Georgia December, Georgia Dee for short? At least it has a bit of story to it.

Is Skye a conception story name? Never too sure about island names since where I live many litters of pups get named after the isles ...

I know a Georgia Lily. She is a lovely, lovely young girl: strong, beautiful and clever Smile

ToysRLuv · 15/07/2015 21:01

Skye - no. Sorry!

HelloNewman · 15/07/2015 21:01

Anything but Mae or May which I think are the naffest of middle names, closely followed by Rose.

ToysRLuv · 15/07/2015 21:02

Noelle?

Losingmyreligion · 15/07/2015 21:03

May.

Binkleflip · 15/07/2015 21:04

May is already taken by Jagger's kid!

Minisoksmakehardwork · 15/07/2015 21:16

Georgia Raine? I wanted it as a mide name for Dd1 but dh wasn't keen. It means strong/queen/counsel; mighty army apparently.

blueeyedpea · 15/07/2015 21:38

I know a Georgia Kay which is pretty

yumyumpoppycat · 15/07/2015 21:44

louise?

violetwellies · 15/07/2015 23:02

Jude is brilliant, it's quite masculine and I think that's good with a very feminine first name , my niece is a Georgia with a masculine sounding middle (family) name it's a great mix.

jennieflower · 15/07/2015 23:17

Georgia Jude is a no for me, only because I have a Georgia (12yo Dd) and a Jude (6yo DS)
Grin

BadHenry · 16/07/2015 00:00

Georgia Elizabeth Jude

jugglingmonkey · 16/07/2015 12:59

Thanks for all the suggestions!

Georgia Jude/ Georgia Lauren and Georgia Rose are leading at the moment!

I have a Georgia Beck (Beck because of family connections to Troutbeck in Cumbria, don't think Georgia Trout world have quite worked Grin )

theyoungonenexttime · 16/07/2015 13:10

Georgia Rose sounds lovely

CloserToFiftyThanTwenty · 16/07/2015 13:16

Rose is also a v common middle name around our way (taking over from May, maybe?)

Have you not got any family names you might use?

I'd avoid names starting with a vowel or a j sound

McDreamyMcNastyMcHottie · 16/07/2015 14:36

Lois.

jugglingmonkey · 16/07/2015 20:02

Hmmm the family names are Jude, Dorothy, Eliza, Barbara... And Rosemary which I don't love. Of those, the Jude is the closest family member.

I'd really like something with a connection, but my maiden name wouldn't work.

Is it too self indulgent to use my first name as a middle name? As indeed we did for DS - used DH's first name as a middle name....

MamaLazarou · 16/07/2015 20:11

Georgia Louise

Georgia Kate

Georgia Kay

CloserToFiftyThanTwenty · 16/07/2015 20:32

Not self indulgent at all - until quite recently it was reasonably common to give your children your own name too, so if that works why not?

I think Georgia Dorothy flows really well, but I know Dorothy is a bit of a marmite name

jugglingmonkey · 16/07/2015 21:06

So, that would be Georgia Alexa

Thoughts ??
