MistyMeena · 15/06/2015 21:55

I have taught male and female Edens.

WorldsBiggestGrotbag · 15/06/2015 21:56

I know one adult male and one baby female Eden.

tilder · 15/06/2015 21:59

I would expect a girl.

GilbertBlytheWouldGetIt · 15/06/2015 22:00

I know a boy called Eden. It's a fine name.

Zzzsnatcher · 15/06/2015 22:05

Cute!!

Zzzsnatcher · 15/06/2015 22:05

Cute!!!

Cazzybaby · 15/06/2015 22:09

I'm thinking it's quite unisex then! I'll be sure to dress him in blue!

Awful as a boys name, passable as a girls name. Sorry.

meglet · 15/06/2015 22:34

the only eden I know is a boy.

cazzy he's a footballer.

binspin · 15/06/2015 22:36

It's nice. Also like Piran.

Pikkewyn · 15/06/2015 22:36

I know an Eden - he is about 9 months old.

LondonRocks · 15/06/2015 22:38

I know an Edan. He's a sweetie.

patienceisvirtuous · 15/06/2015 22:39

No. Definitely sounds feminine.

CornwallsFinest · 15/06/2015 22:41

I know of 2 young boys, 1 Eden and the other Edyn. I don't know any females with that name.

It's a lovely name Smile

AuntieStella · 15/06/2015 22:42

Eden was always a boys name until that awful US daytime soap.

Poffleski · 15/06/2015 22:43

I know 2, both girls (5,3) until them I'd always thought it to be a boys name. I reckon it's unisex now though.

BalloonSlayer · 15/06/2015 22:45

We had this discussion.

DH liked it as a boy's name.

I felt Eden was a girl's name, Edan is a boy's name. DH didn't like Edan. Hmm

Couldn't agree so scrapped it and went for something else.

Look at DS2 now and shudder at him being called either. So not him.

Iliveinalighthousewiththeghost · 16/06/2015 10:12

Don't like it for either gender, sorry but to me it is more suited to a girl.
But that is only my opinion. It's not fact, do if you like it then use it.

Trooperslane · 16/06/2015 10:17

Aidan instead?

SophieHatters · 16/06/2015 10:20

I think it is nice for a boy tbh. Edan sounds like E-anything else, you may as well go for Dan Smile

Eden is a lovely boy's name.

ShatnersBassoon · 16/06/2015 10:20

I've only known male Edens, two of them, one middle-aged and one child. It's a bit tie-dyed, but certainly not that unusual, and not girly.
