Was thinking if I had gone with my second choice names my kids would be called -

Sophie, Nathan, Scarlett, Riley and Lacey.

Still like my kids names but I have 3 daughters and regret not calling one of them Sophie just really love that name put me off as was so popular when I had my eldest.

Daniel and Orlaith if he'd been a girl. He doesn't look like a Daniel and looks even less like our other boy names.

Purplehonesty · 16/06/2015 18:05

Thomas and Anna

alyxlndn · 16/06/2015 18:23

Nathan and Luca, still love both names, but I prefer their names now. If they would have been girls they would have been Iris and Anastasia.

JasperDamerel · 16/06/2015 18:26

Caspar and Juno.

Astralabe · 16/06/2015 22:04

Winnie and Caspar

shitebag · 16/06/2015 22:19

Leo and Amber.

Holy Shit Alyx80 do you know me?

I actually have a Carter and Sullivan!! I've never met anyone on mumsnet who even likes these names! Grin

Second choice for Carter was Elliott or Brandon, second choice for Sullivan was Lachlan.

MrsBungle · 17/06/2015 18:36

I would have a Niamh and Keir

Mutteroo · 18/06/2015 08:49

Emily & Theodore

Emily was our no.1 choice until two weeks before DD was born when we discovered her name & decided it was much less popular & therefore more interesting. Theodore was never really an option because we had agreed on our favourite boys name years earlier & was never going to be swayed away from it.

Love the name Stella, always thought people might assosiate it with the beer though especially as thats the beer of choice in our house :)

Persephone and Araminta - thank God the anaesthetic wore off and DH saw sense. He chose the names while I rolled around high as a kite on the morphine.

Still wish I'd called DD2 Zara though, but it was vetoed as he said we are not naming our daughter after a shop.

I laughed and suggested CostCutter shortly afterward birth but at that point, it may have been the drugs Wink

Jennifer and Amber.

Actually, we DID call DD1 my second choice, and DH's. He wanted Jennifer Middlename, and I wanted Alexandra Middlename. I almost went with Jennifer... and then changed my mind as we both liked the one we'd picked for the middle. And it suits her perfectly - strong and to the point!

ButterflyOfFreedom · 19/06/2015 07:29

I would have Joseph & Chloe.

Both lovely names but I still prefer our first choices!

mkunga100 · 19/06/2015 08:34

Mine would be Jared, Seth, Caspar, Jemima and Soloman.

boxofholes · 19/06/2015 08:54

Cressida, Dominic, Helena, Idris/Griffith (their actual names are only marginally less poncey!) ... with dc1 & 2 we went with my first choices and with 3 & 4 we went with dh's & 5 years later I much prefer the names he picked for the younger two.

SycamoreMum · 19/06/2015 09:02

She would have been Saoirse Rose but the name I chose instead is so romantic, French and theatrical! Smile

If she was a boy she would have been called Simeon Cain. Very strong name.

BeautifulStars93 · 19/06/2015 21:25

Daisy and Daisy lol.

BagsyThisName · 19/06/2015 21:29

Dylan and Evan

Aidan and Esther. Still like Esther, glad we skipped Aidan, it's really popular here just now.
