My favourite boys' name...

Happens to be the name of my first love and also the name of another ex's son. DH doesn't mind so it's okay to use it right? It's not an unusual name...

You like it, DH doesn't mind (genuinely?) then go for it.

Is anyone else e.g. Family & friends likely to comment on it and wind up DH and future DS?

I don't think family would know about ex's son. DH genuinely doesn't mind - he doesn't ever understand why people care about that kind of thing - he is such a bloke!

And I say first love - this is 20 years ago now. I don't know if family would even remember - was just a summer thing.

Chances are they can't remember the name of your first love either. :) You'll probably go off the name by the time baby arrives anyway and end up with something completely different :o

best of luck.

I don't see a problem. If you have a son and give him this name then for you and your family it will be his.
