Felicity or Georgina?

Sorry to keep hammering on this, just think we've narrowed it down to these two names and could use help deciding! Other two DDs are Philippa Winter and Vivienne Gray (Pippa/Pip and Vivi). Middle name would probably be either Susan (my mum's name), Jane, Constance, or Eleanor... though open to other options.

So... Felicity or Georgina?

Felicity pros/cons:

  • really like the meaning ('happy')
  • full name more exciting than nickname selection (though I like Liss/Lissie and DH likes Flick, so we could make it work)
  • quite similar to Philippa, though we never use Pip's full name, this is potentially a non-issue
  • possibly getting too popular?

Georgina pros/cons:

  • meaning a bit blah ('farmer'...), but not a huge deal
  • nickname options, particularly 'Georgie', more exciting than the full name
  • doesn't sound as similar as Felicity does, which is good
  • not super popular but still feels familiar

Love Claudia. Much nicer. Not sure about Laudie though.

Claudia is tons better than Felicity

I don't think Claudia is in the same league as the other names discussed on this thread too harsh sounding

I have a felicity who is in junior school. I had never met a child with the same name but in her small school there are 2 other younger girls with that name.
My younger Dd also accidentally has a name that has become massively popular!

Prefer Claudia to Felicity and Georgina.
