Hello everyone I've only six weeks to go and we really need to find a girls name. If you could help and give suggestions of others you like similar to this it would be great. Our names are:
Genevieve
Tessa
Sasha
Thanks for helping.

Sasha is definitely a boys name. I love Tessa! Genevieve is lovely too but Tessa is my favourite, gorgeous name. What about Tamsin (Tammy) or Eva? Or.. Alicia, Sandra, Saskia, Anoushka.

Wafer in my coffee friends already have an Alicia, Saskia and anoushka :-) also Eva is too popular where I live. Thanks for all input

My name is Sacha and I'm a girl and I love it, I like that it's unusual and don't really care if in some countries it's a boys name. There are lots of unisex names. It's great that I have barely met any other Sacha's during my life. I feel like it suits any age and it's never really in or out of style so doesn't really date.

What other way is there for pronouncing Genevieve? Confused
I like it but think it would be shortened to Gennie.

MitzyLeFrouf · 09/06/2015 17:01

The two Genevieves I know pronounce it as jenna-veev but I suspect it should be more like jenna-vee-ev?

'Genny' and Gennie' look all wrong though - to me written down they look as though they should be pronounced with a hard G like in garden. Jenny should have a J!

Love Genevieve, could also be shortened to Viva. Tessa's great as a middle name - if using it as the first name I'd make Tessa a nn for a longer name on the bc. Tessa - Tess - Elizabeth? I love lots of the nns from Elizabeth, but really don't like the full name itself! Tessa short for Elspeth? Or Thespie?
